Since I'm still healing I decided to put my time today to good use! So, I went to Santa Rosa and picked up a 4x4x4 Rubik's Cube. I started it at around 12:00 and was able to complete it, with the help of Dan Brown, by about 4:30. At one point the cube popped apart and my dog Clyde was able to snag one of the pieces. I managed to put it back together, but one blue block is chewed up. Since then I have not been able to successfully finish the cube. One of the main differences between a 4x4x4 and a 3x3x3 is you run into whats referred to as parity, and let me tell you it is very frustrating. Everything will look great and then you realized its wrong. I think I need to give it a rest for today and chill. I hope to one day to be local Rubik's Cube master!
You should talk with my friend, Ben, from high school. He was way into Rubik's cubes and you'd probably have fun talking with him about them.
