Yesterday was the Bicycle John's Holiday Benefit Ride. At about 9:00 100+ cyclists from all over the southern california area met at the Santa Clarita location to enjoy a beautiful 27 or 43 mile loop and some good food and beer afterwards. Everyone either brought an unwrapped toy or a check for $15. It was fun because I was able to ride with a lot of the customers I see everyday. Mike and I were able to stay in the head of the group for the most part. I lagged behind towards the end because most of my energy was spent fighting horrible headwinds. We did the ride with stops in about 3 hours. Below is a link of the loop.
