A Duzzy!
Today Mike and I drove out to Malibu Creek State Park for a killer mountain bike ride. This place was new to the both of us, so we were kind of lost throughout the journey. We started at the parking lot and headed up the Crags Rd trail. It's mostly uphill with a few twisters through a creek and a few very tight rock gardens. We ran into a friend of mikes and he told us to take the Bulldog trail up to heaven. ? We continued up, past the old M.A.S.H. film site, until we hit the Bulldog trail head. The climb didnt seem to bad, but little did we know it would take up about 90% of the ride.According to the map we started at about 515ft and climbed to 2434ft. The trail isn't terribly steep, but at some points its incredibly technical for how slow your going. We managed to make our way to the top, and begin our descent. We hit a parking lot at the bottom of the trail and couldnt figure out where to go. After asking some confused hikers we decided to just go back the way we came. O MAN. The trail was very, very fast with plenty to keep your mind off falling. Your too busy dodging rocks and ruts. We made it to the end and back to the car safely. Now i am very tired.
