Welcome To The Jungle

Well I have survived my first week of southern California living. I have started a full time position at a high end racing bicycle boutique. We stock frames such as Serotta, Pinarello, Moots and Ridley, along with an assortment of the highest end parts to compliment the frame of your dreams. Things are fun and fast paced at the shop, a 180 from what I was used to.

Finding things to do is much easier too. Today Emily and I went exploring in Griffith Park in Glendale. We were able to hike to the highest point where I was able to get a panoramic picture of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Reilly even came and payed us a visit. After walking a long way only to discover that the monthly 80's night had turned into a weird hipster house music night. We ended up at an interesting Irish pub and played Wheel Of Fortune. We also ventured into Hollywood where we got some amazing mexican food and Reilly picked up some inexpensive suspenders. All the other clothes in that store will require a few weeks, if not months, of saving. Overall, I am liking this place more and more. We also saw a fat pug today.
